Conference Room Refresh
The US Department of Labor’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management/Business Operations Center (OASAM/BOC) contracted Impyrian as the Prime contractor to update its audiovisual equipment in multiple conference and training rooms in their Conference Center. Audioconferencing and web conferencing have become increasingly integral to Department of Labor operations. The identified spaces were incapable of the desired communication functions.
Impyrian provided DOL with design drawings, installation and programming of the equipment to upgrade seven (7) conference rooms at the US Department of Labor Frances Perkins Building Conference Center.
Rooms with varying levels of integration will be addressed to ensure proper audio coverage and uniformity, video presentation capabilities, and general communication needs for the multiple ways in which the space will be used.
Impyrian executed the following scope of work for the seven designated rooms.
- Drawings required for system fabrication and installation were prepared and furnished based on statement of functionality and approved equipment list
- Execution included the installation and termination of cable and wiring, as well as the installation of all mechanical and mounting hardware for new AV racks, controllers, monitors, switches, relays, routers, gateways, amplifiers, microphones, projector screens, UPS and other components for a full turnkey conference room design solution

- System Integration
- Testing and commissioning
Impyrian successfully completed this large multiple conference room AV/VTC endpoint project, which required full design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and training. The project was completed on time and on budget and the customer provided an excellent PPQ.
